Philosophy of Care Within a homely and relaxed atmosphere we provide both continual and respite care for our clients. It is the philosophy of Oakville Park to provide a high standard of care for all our residents. Prior to and on admission we are aware of our responsibilities to ensure maximum safety whilst maintaining dignity for our residents. We are aware that each resident is a member of a family as well as a member of society. We will, therefore, endeavour to provide our residents with the opportunity to maintain their links with the community in which they lived by organizing outings and allowing families and friends to visit as freely as possible. We provide many “in house” activities to suit a range of individual tastes. However, we also aim to respect all residents need for privacy, peace and quiet. We hope that through our relationships with residents and their relatives, we can minimize distress levels at traumatic times. At Oakville Park we feel our greatest strength is our ability to adapt to our clients needs. We continually attempt to improve quality of life for our residents by providing a relaxed, homely environment staffed by highly qualified care professionals.
